**HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** Teachers, please log in and go to each assessment to export your own data to Excel file with the download to Excel link at the lower left. Get each assessment to retain granular data for students. Please enter and print your May data. Also, to have a roster to record on if system goes down again, please print a blank roster for each assessment.
The new data entry deadline is June 5, 2009. All data will be reported for analysis on Monday, June 8, 2009. Data entered after deadline will not be included in current admin/CIPP reporting.
Before data entry, please use the 'Hide" feature to hide students on your SMART roster who are no longer registered in your classroom. The directions are on Page 5 of the User Instructions
linked directly below.
Assessment Calendars
- Users are encouraged to subscribe to the Assessment Calendar. iCal will automatically update to the most up-to-date calendar
every day.
- The calendars may be viewed from the Data Collection Tool or the WSD homepage.
- To View: Click on 'View Assessment Calendar' below.
- To Subscribe: Click on 'View Assessment Calendar' below. Click the 'Subscribe' button in the upper right corner of the calendar, and choose every option. Updates and Alerts will automatically
show up in your 'To Do' list.
- You may Unsubscribe at any time.
Answers to FAQ
- Use
Firefox Internet browser.
To ensure
that you have the latest version,
open Firefox. Go to Help,
located at the top left, and
scroll down to Check for Updates.
- The
Save button takes a while to
save. When you click it, wait
for it to read SAVED before
navigating to another web page!
- To
view your entire class, please
use the down button or scroll.
The right scroll bar may not
be readily viewable-use your
arrow button to find it.
- The
reports take several seconds
to build charts. Some charts
may not show an indicator of
progress....so be patient.
- Reports
are available for individual
students, class item, and
class total assessments.
- The
Teacher Profile page has been
expanded. Teachers may now
add missing assessments to
their classes via their profile.
- Class
section numbers have been appended
to class names to assist teachers
with multiple classes.
- A
'Fill With Zeros' button has
been added to the assessment
entry page under the 'Tools'
section on the left hand side.
This button will fill all blank
scores on the selected assessment
with zeros, and will not overwrite
existing scores.
- Assessments
are sorted
by name on the assessment entry
page.
- If
you have ideas to improve
the CBA Data Tool, please leave

with the developer to see if
it would benefit all.
